I would love to tell you that I am going to be able to write to you all over the Christmas and New Year period. But that would be a lie. To be honest, at this time of year I am lucky if I have time to draw breath, let alone sit and write!
I am only able to do so today because I have worked my socks off this morning and early afternoon and cleared a few minutes. The twin peaks of Mount Washmore and Mount Ironmore have been conquered and dealt with. I did a pre-Christmas food shop, though I suspect I will need to do one more to make sure we have everything we need. I have lists of lists though, so I am confident everything will be dealt with. At some point you have to draw the line and say “if we haven’t got it we can do without it”, don’t you?
So, I have been super busy learning a new skill as well. I can now say I can make curtains. I had never done that before, but I needed some curtains for the baby’s room. They are now done and are hanging up.
The fabric has little woodland creatures on it… it is very cute, gender neutral and should last for YEARS (at least, that is my hope!)
So, thanks for following my blog and reading along in 2014. I assure you I will be back in 2015 with lots of posts, but for now, I am signing off.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours, from me and mine.
