The sun has got its hat on…

Hip hip hip hooray…!

The weather we are currently experiencing in the UK is very welcome.  It is also slightly unusual!

I am making the most of it and trying to get on top of all the garden jobs that need to be done.  I must say, we (being my husband and I) have got on really well with a lot of them.  The veg patch is coming together, the greenhouse is tidy and ready to be set up for the veg I want to grow this year, everything had been painted and two of the four raise beds have been planted up.   Seedlings are sprouting, chitted potatoes have been put into bags and watered in.  I have even mowed the lawn for the first time.  The place is beginning to look really good.

Of course, as much as we have done, there is more to do.  Which is why this blog post is going to be so short.  While the weather is good, I need to be out there making the most of it.  Don’t go away though… I promise I will be back.  This is England we are talking about.  It is bound to rain!!
